Position Summary‍

As a Chef de Partie at Pixie Italian, you’ll be bringing a fresh, coastal take on classic Italian flavours to life with confidence and care. You’ll own your section, plate dishes that feel both refined and generous, and keep the kitchen flowing alongside our Sous and Head Chef. Pixie is all about food that’s vibrant, approachable, and designed for sharing and a love for good produce, teamwork, and keeping the standards high is essential.

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen (essential).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• A positive, team-oriented approach to working with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Experience with Italian ingredients and techniques is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow recipes and specifications with accuracy.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold Pixie Italian’s standards for food quality, presentation, service, and cleanliness.
• Assist the Head Chef in training and developing junior kitchen staff.
• Communicate effectively with both back- and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety practices and all relevant regulations.
• Contribute to strong results in regular kitchen audits and inspections.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the venue.
